Let’s Help Kerri Nelson!

As many of you already know, Kerri Nelson’s husband, Chris passed away early Sunday morning.
Many people have asked how they can come around Kerri right now, and financial help would be a huge blessing. She will no longer be receiving Chris’s disability income and will need help as she figures out how to move forward without that income.
Kerri would not ask for help, but she does know that she will need it. She is so thankful to the people who have helped their family as they have gone through health issues with Chris over the years.
Often Kerri has wished she could help out more in her church and her community but those of you who know Kerri well, know what a help she is right in her own home. Many of you have experienced her “Kerrapy” at one time or another in her chair in her shop.
This is a great opportunity to come together and help make the burden of monthly expenses lighter for her as she grieves and navigates life without Chris.
Kerri has been leaning on Psalm 46…
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling. There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved; God will help her when morning dawns. The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts. The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Come, behold the works of the Lord, how he has brought desolations on the earth. He makes wars cease to the end of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear; he burns the chariots with fire. “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” The Lord of hosts is with us the God of Jacob is our fortress.
