Let's help Kay beat cancer

My awesome friend Kay was diagnosed with metastatic papillary thyroid cancer in late 2017. The cancer started in her thyroid, and later spread to her lymph nodes. Her thyroid and infected lymph nodes had to be removed, and a month after surgery she went back to the hospital for standard radiation therapy. However, during her checkup it was discovered that the cancer spread to her lungs. She was then advised to receive a high dose of radiation to kill off the cancer cells, but that didn’t work. At her last check up, the doctors basically told her that she must learn to live with the disease…

…but Kay is a fighter, and she is determined to fight the cancer. She is traveling to Germany to receive alternative treatment, but it’s costly, very costly. And insurance won’t cover it. Please help me to help Kay pay for the treatment. She needs all the help she can get during this tough stage of her life. Any donation, no matter how small, is appreciated.
