Since we were toddlers, Herb Baum and I have been friends. Our parents were the best of friends and always there for each other. Herb and I have continued this standard that our parents began: we hold each other up.

Herb's daughter, Katrina, has been battling cancer for almost one year. With the undying support of her Dad and mother Lynn, husband Jim and son Sammy, she has fought this monster with grace. Katie never complains about her plight; she is always concerned with everyone else.

Katie's illness has progressed to the point of needing home health care. Home care is incredibly expensive, generally charged by the hour. This fundraising effort is designed in the hope of raising funds to help the family with these costs.
