Let's Help Our Dear Kathy Beat the Heat!

Hey everyone, I'm reaching out with a special request for someone truly wonderful in our community: Kathy. If you know Kathy, you already know what a gem she is – a kind-hearted, funny, and absolutely dedicated city worker who always brings a smile to our faces.

Kathy has been going through a tough time lately. For quite a while now, she's been without a working HVAC unit in her home. She bravely made it through the entire winter with just a space heater, but with Missouri's infamous summer heat already here and July just around the corner, the situation is becoming critical. We've already had several excessive heat advisories, and it's only going to get hotter.

The problem is, a regular window AC unit just won't work with the type of windows Kathy has. So, we're aiming to raise enough to get her a floor AC unit, which will make a world of difference in keeping her safe and comfortable during these scorching months.
