Let’s help Kate Manahan
Donation protected
My dear friend Kate Manahan needs our help. Kate has spent her life as a nurse helping others and now she needs us. Kate was a burn ICU nurse at Regions Hospital and many times flew as a Nurse Humanitarian to Haiti and then the Philippines to help after natural disasters. In October 2019, she was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma brain tumor. During surgery she had stroke which affected her vision and the use of her left side. She stayed focused and finally was able to go home in March of 2020. She has needed 24 hour help since her diagnosis and has been blessed that her sister Loraine has been able to live with her and her sister Barb has also been able to come and stay to. Her brothers have helped with the house and building a ramp for her to get in and out easier. In January her brain tumors returned and now things are harder at home. Kate wants so badly to be home. In December, the hospital officially terminated her because her FMLA had been exhausted and now without the medical coverage, we need help with getting some assistance in to help Kate and her sisters with transfers, cares, and other needs as they arise. Please if you’re able-donate. Kate has always supported so many the years and now let’s help her. Thank you, Jessica
