Let's Help Kane get back in the Saddle!

Hi, my name is Rachel and I am fundraising for my good friend Kane Drayton who was injured in a terrible accident on Saturday 23 July 2022.

Kane, along with two of his mate's fell from a verandah after the railing gave way, falling from a height of around four metres.

Kane was then flown to Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney,where it was discovered he had fractured his back in three places. Kane has had surgery however the injuries sustained to his T12 vertabrae are quite severe and he has been told he will be unable to walk.

Kane is currently in ICU. His parent's Peter and Donna, along with his partner Amy, are by his side. The plan moving forward is to have Kane transferred into the Spinal Ward for weeks, if not months, of rehabilitation.

Kane is a Diesel Mechanic at Boggabri Coal and is an accomplished horseman competing in campdraft's far and wide.

It would be incredible if we could raise funds to assist Kane and his family for the long road ahead. If we can lessen the burden felt of being so far away from home, and the cost's that follow, that will help enormously.

Kane has told me he is up for this challenge, and if we can all get behind this young man and support him that would be amazing! We have got you Kane!!
