Friends and family of Julie, Casey, Jaden, and Cambria,

It is with deep sadness that we share Julie passed away peacefully this morning, August 31, 2025, just a few days before what would have been her and Casey’s 30th wedding anniversary. Casey was right by her side in her final moments.

This past June, Julie, Casey, Jaden, and Cambria made a special trip from Palm Desert to Marin. Along the way, they stopped in Monterey to see Jaden’s new apartment, visited with Cambria’s friends from San Francisco, and spent time driving through Marin, revisiting Julie’s favorite places. Tammy, Linda, and I were fortunate to share a dinner with them, where we reminisced about raising our kids together in San Anselmo. Julie laughed, smiled, and cried with us that evening—it was a goodbye filled with love.

Casey is currently working with Hospice and the funeral home. A service is expected in 2–3 weeks, and we will share details as soon as they are available.
