Dear family, friends and people of good Will.  

A month ago 6 year old  Julek Maczuga came down with what his parents though was a a stomach virus. After a doctors visit and Juleks health still not improving they decided to take him to Childrens hospital. That’s where they found out that Julek is infected with one of the worst bacteria’s “E Coli”. 

Pawel’s and Gosia’s life came crushing down. 
Their fight for their sons life began with full force. Things started happening very fast. After testing baby Julek to determine how infected his little organs were, the doctors found out that both of his kidneys are not working and they began kidney dialysis. Julek was put under induced coma to give his body some rest while the doctors were fighting for his life.
After two weeks things started looking up for Julek, he started to feel better and even started to talk and laugh.  
Life started gaining some colors for Gosia and Pawel.

 Everybody thought the worst is over but we were all wrong!

Because of the toxins from the E Coli bacteria Juleks organs were damaged and he came down with Hus. 
Although his kidneys started working, his belly was still very swollen which worried everybody. After preforming more tests the doctors found that that they need to preform an emergency operation.
On October 22, Juleks large intestine was removed and stomia was preformed  temporarily. Right now the doctors are fighting for Julek not to come down with sepsis and are keeping him under induced coma  so his brain and body can rest. 

Juleks parents Pawel and Gosia have decided that they need to move their son to the best children’s hospital in this country, which is located in Boston!  They belive that he will get the best help there! 
Both Pawel and Gosia have not left Juleks sight since this has began.Its been a month since Pawel the sole provider of the family has worked. As all of you can imagin everyday expenses are piling down and their savings are nearing down with no sight of this nightmare ending.
