Let’s Help Jose Olivas get back on his feet!

Donation protected
Hi, My name is Cade Broussard and I am starting this Go Fund Me for Mr. Jose Olivas out of Austin, TX.

Late last night I hopped in the car with my dog Tipper, we were heading to get some food. I tend to instinctively roll down the windows for Tipper so he can get some fresh air. Well, as we all know, it’s fucking hot. Way too hot. This dry Texas heat is brutal. Those friends and family anywhere down south know exactly what I am talking about right now. I can not imagine spending 24/7 in this heat. I can not imagine spending one night out in this heat.

Anyways, I took a turn into this alleyway to use it as a shortcut and saw Jose turned away from the street leaning against the wall. He was in a dark spot, all alone, and not looking for attention. He had a hospital gown on, bandages all the way up his legs, no food, no money, and one bag of belongings. I had this feeling inside take over and I knew I had to stop even though I was sketched out. (it was not the most inviting area) I believe it was God pushing down on me. I stopped and asked him if he was okay, but I could just tell that this man was hurting. I whipped my car around and bought him a meal from Sonic and then came back to talk with him.

Jose is fresh out of the hospital, he has no money, and hardly any hope left. There was a bit of a language barrier but I believe he said that he had some sort of infection in his legs that had to be operated on. I had to do more than just buy him a meal.

I asked Jose if I could take a picture of him and start a Go Fund Me on his behalf. He was brought to tears and thanked me for wanting to help him. I asked him if he had one request, what would that be? He answered with “a tricycle” something I can get around on with a basket for his stuff. ($200-$300 from Walmart or Amazon). I want to help Jose get a bike. I want to help Jose get back on his feet. I want to get him out of this heat while his wounds heal.

I set a goal of $500 in hopes to get this bike and possibly have some leftover for a motel room until he heals up. Any little donation goes a long way. He told me where I can find him and I guaranteed him I’d be back after gathering more support.

People are suffering out here and we gotta do our part! Thank you for taking the time to read this and please consider contributing to Jose’s Fund! I will make a video of some sort, proving that Jose will receive every bit of these donations.

P.S. Today just so happens to be my birthday even if it's just a dollar, please help me help this man. It would be the best birthday gift I could ask for. Let's change the world together.

Warm regards,
