Queridos amigos y familiares:

Como muchos saben nuestro papá Jorge Urbina fue diagnosticado con Síndrome Mielodisplásico en el mes de noviembre pasado. Ha estado en tratamiento desde entonces y hoy queremos compartir con ustedes una noticia que nos llena de esperanza: Jorge ha evolucionado muy bien y, gracias a Dios, se encuentra actualmente en proceso de remisión. Este avance ha sido posible gracias al acertado tratamiento médico indicado y al cariño, las oraciones y el apoyo constante que hemos recibido de cada uno de ustedes.

Ahora comenzamos una etapa muy importante: los ciclos de mantenimiento, esenciales para consolidar su recuperación y sanación y seguir avanzando hacia una vida plena saludable. Para ello, Jorge necesita continuar su tratamiento con quimioterapia, exámenes de laboratorios constantes, y otros medicamentos. La evolución dirá cuántos ciclos de tratamiento serán necesarios para su remisión total.

Este camino no ha sido fácil, pero la esperanza nos sostiene cada día. Por eso acudimos a ustedes con humildad y Fe. Si alguien tiene la posibilidad de colaborar aportando recursos para ayudar a adquirir el tratamiento les agradeceríamos profundamente.

Cada gesto, cada oración y cada muestra de apoyo significan muchísimo para nosotros. Gracias por caminar a nuestro lado, por no soltarnos y por ayudarnos a seguir creyendo en los avances de la Medicina, en el poder de la Oración y en la bondad de nuestra gente.

As many of you know, our father Jorge Urbina was diagnosed with Myeodysplastic Syndrome last November. He has been in treatment since then and today we want to share with you a news that fills us with hope: Jorge has evolved very well and, thank God, he is currently in the process of remission. This advance has been possible thanks to the accurate medical treatment indicated and the affection, prayers and constant support that we have received from each of you.

Now we begin a very important stage: the maintenance cycles, essential to consolidate their recovery and healing and continue moving towards a healthy full life. To do this, Jorge needs to continue his treatment with chemotherapy, constant laboratory tests, and other medications. Evolution will tell how many treatment cycles will be necessary for its total remission.

This path has not been easy, but hope sustains us every day. That is why we come to you with humility and Faith. If anyone has the possibility to collaborate by contributing resources to help acquire the treatment, we would be deeply grateful.
