Lets Help Jonnie kick Leukemia's Ass

Cancer? It couldn't be real. Why my little brother, Jonnie? He's only thirty-four with a four year old daughter. Charolette needs her daddy. His wife, Samantha, high school sweethearts, who has been at his side since day one, should not have to do this on her own. He is a loving brother and uncle who has always been there for me and my family.

My name is Angie and I am Jonnie's sister, and if you know Jonnie, you know he works hard everyday as a drywall finisher to support his family. He is an avid fisherman who knows everything there is to know about fishing. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially his daughter (Daddy's girl). She does not understand he is very sick, crying when he needs to leave for appointments, or does not come home during his hospital stays.

Unfortunately, on January 14th, 2022, Jonnie was given his diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Two months prior he fell ill, and many tests later a tumor was found near his liver. Hershey Medical Center suspected a rare bile duct cancer and he underwent a twelve hour surgery where they removed 55% of his liver, tumor, and his gallbladder. We learned quickly it was not bile duct cancer, but another rare type of leukemia. Since surgery Jonnie has endured multiple complications requiring more test and hospital stays. When Jonnie is healthy enough he will need multiple intensive rounds of chemo, requiring lengthy hospital stays.

We are asking for donations to help with this life changing event. He instantly went from working everyday, being a father, and a husband. To being sick, feeling constant pain, and barely able to get out of bed. They are now living on one income and unsure how they are going to make ends meets with the medical bills beginning to pile up.
