Let's Get Jim Back to Work!
Meet Jim – our brother, an electrician, a perfectionist. For anyone who knows Jim, you know his passion for his work runs deep. There’s nothing he loves more than tackling a wiring challenge and getting the job done right.
Two years ago, Jim faced the toughest fight of his life when he was diagnosed with leukemia. His unwavering goal throughout that challenging journey was to beat cancer so he could get back to the work he loves. And he did it! We were all overjoyed when Jim celebrated being cancer-free and was able to return to his livelihood.
Tragically, early this past Thursday morning, that hard-won progress was dealt a devastating blow. Jim woke up to a noise and watched helplessly as thieves drove off in his work truck. This wasn't just a vehicle; it was his mobile workshop, filled with every tool, every piece of equipment, and every supply he needed to do his job. A lifetime of accumulated hand tools, power tools, ladders, specialized electrical and construction parts that Jim kept neatly organized and locked in various storage compartments on the truck—GONE. This truck and its contents are Jim's livelihood.
Losing his truck and tools is a massive setback for Jim, especially after everything he has overcome. It means he can't work, can't provide for himself, and has lost the independence he fought so hard to regain.
We are reaching out to our community, friends, and anyone who has a little extra to spare, to help us get Jim back on his feet – and back to work. Our goal is to raise enough money to help Jim replace his stolen truck and replenish his essential tools and supplies.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping Jim rebuild his ability to work and continue doing what he loves. Let's rally together and show Jim the same strength and support he showed in his fight against cancer.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness and generosity. Please share Jim's story and help us spread the word!
