My name is Beth. On February 6, 2025, our friend Jesslyn lost her home to a fire. Forced to move between several host homes, Jesslyn has struggled to put together resources to find her own temporary place while extensive repairs are made. The enormous costs of moving, repairs, eating out, and cleaning prove overwhelming for anybody so suddenly displaced. And insurance settlements will not be nearly sufficient.
