Help Support Jerry in His Battle Against Stage 4 Colon Cancer
1/28/26 update from Jess and Jerry
Update on my best friend and love of my life.
December 22nd Jerry and I recieved devastating news that took us awhile to process. After 3.5 years of Jerry fighting stage 4 colon cancer we were told Unfortunately he is no longer a candidate for treatment as things have spread and become worse. The cancer is everywhere and we are doing our best at just trying to keep him comfortable.
As of 2 weeks ago Jer has been placed on hospice and we are taking everything day by day.
This is the hardest heaviest thing ive ever had to deal with and watching my husband suffer is absolutely heartbreaking. Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would be going through anything like this in our 40’s.
Jerry is the most giving wonderful man I have ever met, he would do anything for anyone without hesitation. This life is so unfair.
Watching our kids and his family go through this has been tearing me apart but I’m so greatful for all the support we have been recieving. You have no idea how much I appreciate all the donations, messages and prayers. Please continue to keep us all in your thoughts and prayers. We need them more now than ever.
As most of you know my brother in law Jerry was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and facing the toughest fight of his life. After being diagnosed, Jerry has shown incredible courage and strength every single day. Despite his will to keep pushing forward, his cancer has recently progressed aggressively, making it impossible for him to continue working.
Both Jess and Jerry have always been the ones to help others—whether it was lending a hand to a friend in need, offering words of encouragement, or working tirelessly to provide for their family. Now, it’s our turn to help them.
As treatments have become more frequent and the hospital visits more demanding, the medical bills are piling up faster than him and Jess can manage. No one should have to worry about finances while fighting for their life.
We’re asking for your support—no matter how big or small—to help relieve some of the financial burden and give Jerry and his loved ones one less thing to worry about. Every donation will go directly toward medical expenses, treatments, and daily living costs during this unimaginable time.
If you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this page to help us reach others who might be able to lend a hand.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, prayers, and generosity. Jerry’s spirit remains strong, and with your help, we can surround him with the hope and support he deserves.
Please keep Jerry, Jessica and their family in your thoughts and prayers.
