Let's help Jelisa's Family Rebuild After Fire

On May 26, 2024 at 4am in Miami, FL, my sister Jelisa and her 8 children were involved in a house fire where she lost LITERALLY EVERYTHING. The main thing was saved...14 LIVES. My 15 year old niece woke up due to being hot at 4am. She woke up to seeing sparks from the wall. She woke her mom up and by the time they were able to come back, the room was already in flames. There were 14 people in all in the house as 1 of my nieces was celebrating her birthday so she had friends sleeping over. They were able to get everyone out of the house including the family dog, Sugar. Immediately (less than 2 hours) after the fire, the landlord came and threw everything out of the house into one huge pile. Anything that possibly could have been salvaged were then ruined.

Jelisa is a hard working mother that is the epitome of a GEAT MOM. All 8 children excel in school. All of the daughters are competitive cheerleaders and her sons are all on the football team in her area. This fundraiser is super important to me because it could be her house today, our house tomorrow. I would love to see her rebuild her life and give her children some comfort/ needs during this time. I can imagine just how lost she feels with so much on her plate. Let's band together to help Jelisa and her children during this extremely rough time.

This fundraiser will be used to purchase clothing for Jelisa and all the children. We will also be purchasing furniture and houshold needs.
