Let's help Jeana Considine and her girls!
Donation protected
My family was lucky to get to know Jeana Considine as the Principal at Elm School in the Burr Ridge/Hinsdale, IL area, (School District 181). She made a tremendous impact on thousands of students, parents and teachers over the course of her long career as an educator, helping to guide children during the most important years of their developing lives. Jeana has given so much to so many - it's time to support Jeana!
For the past year, Jeana has been quietly struggling with a number of serious health issues and has been diagnosed with a blood cancer called Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS). Jeana has undergone multiple bone marrow biopsies, multiple blood transfusions, the removal of her gall bladder and the ablation of a kidney tumor. She is currently undergoing chemotherapy with a goal of preparing her blood for a bone marrow/stem cell transplant.
Needless to say, this is a difficult and scary time for Jeana and her two amazing girls, Joanie and Claire. Given how much Jeana meant to our family, we desperately wanted to help her in a meaningful way. Jeana is not one to ask for help, (I cleared this with her first!), but any support you can offer will help towards medical bills and a bit of peace of mind for Jeana and her girls as they navigate her medical journey. I know Jeana is loved by so many people - please share this with others and contribute if you are able.
