Let’s Help Jack Move into His New Assisted Living Home!

Donation protected
Linda Bard is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of long-time friend, Jack Armstrong (a gifted spiritual guide and author of “Lessons from the Source.”)

Yes! I’ve got some good news for you about Jack’s recovery from his (literally!) backbreaking fall that happened in January.

After weeks in the hospital and a skilled nursing facility, followed by a lengthy and painful recovery period at home wearing a very restrictive back brace all day long and meeting occasionally with the neurosurgery department at a local hospital – his back has almost entirely healed!

But he’s far from being able to live independently.

He’s been advised to start weaning himself off the brace, and now he wears it only a few hours a day. He walks very slowly with a walker and still needs help with several other daily living tasks that have become difficult to manage.

However, thanks to his long-term care insurance policy, Jack has been accepted into an assisted living facility near his son Andy’s home.

Jack now has LESS than a MONTH to get moved in, and the costs of packing, the move itself, as well as acquiring some furniture and supplies for his apartment, are out of his reach financially.

And that’s why I’m asking for you to be a part of Jack’s new adventure
by donating to his updated GoFundMe campaign.

Every little bit helps! Please contribute what feels good for you, and please share this link with your communities and anyone you know who has been touched by Jack and his work.

Something I’ve always appreciated about Jack is his sense of humor and positivity. It was his idea to pose for the image above and to share this quote from comedian, Steven Wright: 'I was hitchhiking the other day and a hearse stopped. I said, 'No thanks, I'm not going that far.’

Thank YOU so much for your generous heart and for supporting Jack in whatever way you can!

With gratitude,
Linda Bard

P.S. If you would prefer not to tip GoFundMe and have all the funds go directly to Jack, you can set the tip amount to a custom amount or zero. All donations to this fund go directly to Jack as beneficiary for his moving costs and living expenses.
