Let's Help Harvey Get Married!

Hi neighbors, I realize this may not be for everyone, however, I wanted to start a Go-Fund-Me for our fabulous postman, Harvey.  Harvey doesn't know I'm doing this and I'd like to keep it a surprise and maybe have a formal gifting to him by our neighborhood when we reach our goal or by May 31st, 2017, whichever comes first.  

Harvey, many of you may not know him by his name, but if you live on this postal route in the photo, he's likely your mailman.   Rain or shine, hot or cold, Harvey shows up with a smile and a greeting.   He goes out of his way to see how you are and goes above and beyond what a typical mail person would be expcted to do.  I truly believe he is a part of what makes our neighborhood great.  

Anyway, I wanted to do something nice for him, and of course no one succeeds alone.  Harvey wants to get formally 'engaged' and married.  They've decided to get married, but no ring yet...and wedding plans are FAR off in the future becuase Harvey wants to save up to give his bride the wedding she deserves.  

Please know, Harvey did not ask or suggest he needed anything from us.  I just know he is one of the hardest workers I know, and has often put his limbs at risk by way of my mailslot/dog.  And weddings are expensive on government pay!

I think sometimes a feel good story is nice.   If you'd like to help me support my goal in helping Harvey have a feel good story, here is your chance.   I wish there were more folks like him!

Thanks for the support.  I will keep everyone posted and when it is time to give Harvey his "wedding gift" from the neighborhood, let's see if we can't all come togther to do it in person!
