Let's help Grace heal.

A few years ago, I moved into a leafy, quiet neighborhood in Sherman Oaks. And though I've always loved my home, I've recently begun to love it more - because of the lovely woman named Grace who moved into the house behind mine.

She has a big beautiful spirit with loads of love to give and life to live, and this is why she needs our help.

Here's a quick snapshot of Grace's story: In September of 2021, she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. It was a lonely, frightening, and very painful year for her. She had a double mastectomy, chemotherapy, radiation, numerous surgeries, MRIs, biopsies, and the removal of 26 lymph nodes. And though she beams with gratitude when she's with you, her fight is not over yet. She has major reconstructive surgery on December 7th, followed by several follow-up surgeries.

Grace's job will not take her back until she is able to work full-time again. She has health insurance, but her bills are massive, growing, and often bring her to tears. Though her renowned surgeon is giving her a considerable discount, she owes $6500.00 before the surgery.

Grace has shared with me that most cancer patients go into debt or have to file for bankruptcy because of their ongoing debt.

She truly embodies her name. She has three wonderful children and two adorable grandchildren. She has a lovely dog named Charles and a thriving garden. But most importantly, she has a big, beautiful life to live. And WE can help her this holiday season - to enjoy many Christmases to come.
