Hey all, let's help someone who is beloved to all of us get some much-needed financial stability to focus on healing and building the next chapter of her life. Last year, Grace was forced to quit her jobs amidst the pandemic while her life completely changed due to her living situation. While long-term we know that this change will alleviate Grace’s emotional, physical and mental strain, in the short term her emotional health has been compromised and the financial implications have led to her depleting her life savings and being burdened with additional debt
During the last 16 months, while everyone was being worn down by the pandemic, Grace was also hospitalized twice. Once for her mental health and once for her hip, rendering her physically immobile for two weeks — she’s walking with a cane to this day. Since her first diagnosis with mental illnesses and depression, she has not been able to afford her medical bills, much less seek the counseling that her doctors recommended. Additionally, legal fees related to her previous situation continue to climb.
Since the summer of 2020, Grace has moved to a new apartment, found full-time employment, put up her solo show, became a co-host on a theater podcast, and opened her own small business — yet still struggles to make ends meet every week.
This fundraiser will help Grace find a good therapist, give her some time to rest, and give her the peace of mind she needs without worrying about paying for hospital bills, food, and rent, all while she continues to pay her legal bills.
