Let's help give back to Becky

Hi friends, family, and neighbors. My name is Michelle and I have the pleasure of being a friend of Becky's. Those of you that are fortunate enough to know Becky are aware of the genuine and loving heart that she has. She is always there for her friends and family. She has dedicated her life to working with with disadvantaged youth and families. She has selflessly given her time and resources to help other in need. She is currently attempting to help a young family who found themselves without resources when their father became ill with cancer. What many of you may not know is that Becky is struggling herself right now.
Becky doesn't know that I am attempting to collect money to help her in her time of need. My hope is to surprise her with the financial support she will desperately need over the next couple months. Why does she need financial support right now? Let me explain.
Becky was diagnosed with Multiple Meyloma in 2017 and has fought like hell to beat this horrible cancer. She has been successful thus far, but it has not been easy. She has undergone an unsuccessful stem cell transplant, has had to make changes in her career due to physical limitations she now has, and sadly lost the love of her life, who took such amazing care of her, in a sudden and unexpected incident two years ago. Becky has had a hard time bouncing back from the death of her wife and has had a significantly harder time fighting her cancer, with several failed chemo treatments. This spring and summer, the cancer hit her hard and put her in the hospital twice with everything from new lesions in her hip, to cushings syndrome, to blood clots in both of her legs and lungs. Still, she fights. She has been on multiple medications, has had multiple treatment plans and has been on crutches since May. She is exhausted, but still fighting.
Just recently, Becky was faced with a very difficult decision. She choose to leave her job and go on short term disability, hoping to resolve the ongoing medical issues and return to work. However, this decision included her leaving her current employer. As the weeks have gone by, Becky has gotten much better, and has begun seeking employment again, rather than going on permanent disability. The problem is that she has run out of time. Her disability has ended and she has yet to find permanent employment. Due to still having mobility issues, she is unable to do her normal side jobs. She at this point has no income. She has applied for some programs and continues to search for ways to support herself. If you know Becky, you know she is diligently looking for a solution that does not inconvenience anyone else. What she doesn't understand is that loving and supporting her is not an inconvenience.
I want to help Becky out. She still needs some physical therapy, but can work the right job. She has a new treatment starting the first of the year, hopefully she tolerates it well and can work the right job. She is currently searching for the right job. In the meantime, she needs financial help to pay her bills. That's where you come in. Please consider donating to this go fund me, she really needs the help more than she will ever admit.
If you are unable to help out financially, please share the post with your friends, let's give her some room to breath and some time to finish healing. Let's give her time to find the right job again and get back on her feet. We all know she will pay it forward somehow.
