Lets Help Get Pete Some Wheels

Our mate Pete had a life changing accident last Australia day that changed his life forever. Pete is now an incomplete quadriplegic.

It’s been a very long road to this day and against all odds peters progress has been nothing short of amazing, his attitude towards his recovery is growing day by day and so is his progress.

Pete has had to adapt and readjust to a completely different way of life and has had its mental strain on his life. He consistently has a wide support network that keep his spirits up and offer all the support to him they can,

He currently is cared for daily by 3 support staff aiding him in daily life.

His ongoing rehabilitation consists of physio appointments, occupational therapy appointments making strides, pool therapy, GP visits and making his scheduled routine specialist appointments in Brisbane at the PA Hospital. All of this taking its mental toll on Peter when he has to catch public transport buses and trains.

Pete’s family and friends support network are striving to help Pete kick goals with his rehabilitation efforts and to get him what he needs, a suitable vehicle for transportation purposes modified for his wheelchair.
