UPDATE ON KATE June 2022:
Thank you again for all your generous donations and support this past December.
We wanted to update you here as Kate's arm and wrist are taking longer to heal than anticipated due to a number of complications. There remains a need for ongoing intensive physio and rehab as well as the likelihood of more surgeries.
In light of these facts we are asking if you are able to contribute to help with these costs.
We so appreciate all the love and support we have received as we continue to work through this difficult time.

Hello friends.
Kate and I and our family are asking for your help.
Some of you already know that back in late October Kate suffered a bad fall, breaking numerous bones. She has been in hospital for 5 weeks now, undergoing multiple surgeries on her wrist, arm, hips and pelvis. She has also been suffering from debilitating anxiety and clinical depression. The public health system of Canada has served her wonderfully to this point, but as she moves forward in her recovery, she is now requiring further surgeries to her wrist/arm and ongoing supplemental rehabilitation on all fronts. Neither of us are working currently so we are asking if you could make any size donation towards the physical and psychological support she will be needing over a number of months, as well as our ongoing living expenses.

Our little family is coping well but this is a sad time with lots of effort ahead. Knowing how many wonderful friends we have out there in the World continues to provide us with solace and the fortitude we know is necessary to get through this most challenging of times.
