Hello! My name is Rhonda; Gabe and I went to college together at SUNY Purchase. We’ve been friends for over 35 years and I love this man like a brother!!!

Gabe is going through a medical crisis. He was born with only one kidney and has battled Type One Diabetes since childhood. 50 years of Type One Diabetes has slowly damaged the kidney. The kidney is in end stage renal failure, and Gabe needs a kidney transplant in order to survive.

A kidney transplant is a very involved, multistage process – one which will undoubtedly be very expensive. I am asking for donations to help Gabe and his wonderful wife, Heather, pay for the out-of-pocket expenses they will incur through this process.
