On January 12, Becki received the news no one is ever prepared for. After a repeat mammogram, ultrasound and biopsy, she heard the words: you have breast cancer.

Becki is currently undergoing chemotherapy, which will be followed by surgery and 21 radiation treatments to fight this cancer.

For 32 years, Becki has been behind the chair doing what she loves—helping others feel confident, beautiful, and cared for. If you know her, you know her signature smile and the way she lifts everyone up around her. In the five months since her diagnosis, through treatments and the physical and emotional toll that comes with them, Becki has continued to show up for her clients with that same warmth and strength all while doing her best to continue to smile through it all.

But recently, after catching a simple cold, her compromised immune system led to a fever which had her missing work and an ER visit to get IV antibiotics to fight off any infection. This is just part of the stressful journey she’s on. As a hairstylist, if Becki isn't able to work, she won't have an income. And as treatment continues, there will likely be many days when her energy needs to be focused on healing and recovery.
