Let’s Help Freddy Get Back On His Feet!

Hello, everyone. My name is Nicole Davis and I’m Freddy’s mom. On August 12, 2021 during a night of partying with his friends, Freddy fell from a tree and fractured his skull. He needed to have two emergency surgeries to stop bleeding on both sides of his brain.

 

Since then he has been at Foothills Medical Centre recovering from his injuries- relearning how to walk, talk and do day-to-day tasks. So far, he has made amazing strides in his recovery. He is expected to be there for about two more months as he finishes rehabilitation. Also, he will have one final surgery to replace the right bone flap on his skull the surgeons temporarily removed to relieve the swelling in his brain.

 

Let’s help him get back to his feet when he comes home. He is a single father to 4 year old Hazel finishing his Certificate in Business Management. He has also taken a leave of medical absence from work installing windows due to the accident.
