On April 23rd, 2021 our father Francisco Flores was admitted to the hospital after having difficulty breathing. Doctors diagnosed him with Covid-19. With his diabetes and other pre-existing conditions, his symptoms escalated so quickly he was rushed to the ICU where they would intubate him the following day. He is the strongest, most hard working man we know and fought so hard for his life. Thank God, along with everyone’s prayers my dad pushed through. He is now on the road to recovery at Rancho Los amigos rehabilitation center where he is working to rebuild his physical strength again! With only a 20% change of surviving this virus, he was considered a “Miracle Patient” to all the nurses and doctors at Olive View Hospital.
After being sedated, intubated & bedridden for over a month, he lost all his muscle and mobility. We want to make his recovery process easier without the added stress of having to go back to a laborious mechanic job right away. He won’t be able to work for at least 6 months. Unlike the average American, he does not receive unemployment or disability benefits from the government. So we would like to ask, anyone able to help, for a small donation to help him heal in peace and focus whole heartedly on his recovery. We hope to surprise him with all of your kind contributions when he is out of the hospital on his journey to recovery! On behalf of our loving family, thank you so very much!
En Abril 23, 2021 nuestro padre Francisco Flores fue aceptado al hospital por un problema respiratorio. Los doctores lo diagnosticado con COVID-19. Con su diabetes los symptimos intensificado rápidamente lo mandaron a cuidados intensivos donde lo intubaron el próximo día. El es el más fuerte papa, más noble trabajador en el mundo y peleo por su vida. Gracias a dios, la familia, nuestros amigos y sus oraciones mi papá lucho su vida. En este momento se esta recuperando en Rancho Los Amigos rehabilitation donde lo ayudan a recuperar sus músculos con fuerza físicamente y mentalmente. Tuvo solamente 20% chance de sobrevivir esta virus, y fue considerado un “Milagro Paciente” para los enfermeros y doctores en el Olive View hospital
Después de estar sedado, intubado & postrado en la cama por más que un mes, perdió mucho músculo y movilidad. Queremos acer e proceso de recuperación más tranquilo y que no se estrese tener que trabajar en la mecánica. En su condition no puede trabajar al menos de 6 meses. A diferencia del estadounidense el no recibe desempleo, ni beneficios por discapacidades del gobierno. En fin, queremos preguntar si pueden ayudar con una donation pequeña para que mi papa se esfuerza en curarse en paz y enfocarse en su salud. Esperemos sorprenderlo con todos sus contribuyentes cuando salga del hospital de recuperation. En nombre de nuestra amada familia, muchas gracias a todos.
