From 4 to Saving Thousand's - Let’s Finish What We Started!

Many years ago, when ACF was just a small team with a big dream, this very GoFundMe became our first real lifeline.

We were a fledgling rescue trying to save a handful of animals on borrowed time and borrowed space. There were no animal rights in sight. No support systems. No public understanding. But we had a mission: to rescue, rehabilitate, and restore dignity to the forgotten animals of Pakistan.

Back then, we only had 4 animals in our shelter. Today — thanks in large part to the support we’ve received through this very campaign — we are housing over 1,800 rescued animals on 1.25 acres of rented land while actively building Pakistan’s first-ever dedicated animal rescue sanctuary on our very own 2.25 acres of purchased land.

This GoFundMe has been running for over 7 years, created by one of our earliest and most loyal supporters, Amad, who believed in our mission when we had almost nothing — just heart and hope.

Because of your support here, we’ve been able to:

• Rescue and care for over 35,000 animals to date

• Run a 911-style city-wide rescue service across Karachi, the 7th largest city in the world, responding to 30–40 emergency calls every day

• Feed, treat, and provide shelter to animals ranging from dogs and cats to donkeys, monkeys, eagles, goats, cows, and more

• Offer free medical care to donkey owners, run mass TNVR programs, and push for real, systemic change in how animals are treated in Pakistan

• Build, from the ground up, the country’s first animal rescue sanctuary, where abused, homeless, and vulnerable animals will always have a place to call home

This GoFundMe has been — and still is — our anchor. It’s how we’ve managed to keep going, through crisis after crisis, day after day, animal after animal.

Today, we’ve increased our goal to $500,000 — not because we’re starting over, but because we’ve come so far, and we’re closer than ever to completing this sanctuary and securing a forever future for the animals who depend on us.
