Let's Help Erin Continue Moving Forward!

Hello, my name is Jenni and I have known Erin Dentice for over 20 years as one of my sister-in-law's dearest friends and as one of Milwaukee's most dedicated cultivators of love and light (and veggies!).

If you have the delight of knowing Erin - then you too know how smart, thoughtful, generous and truly amazing she is!

Erin is thriving in her new position at the Milwaukee Center for Independence, her health is strong, her work is meaningful and her clients are so lucky to have her on their side.

All of this said Erin's former employer has billed her $2,000.00 as a 'contract termination fee.' While Erin has been aware her former employer could bill her for this amount, it has been nearly a year since she left said former employer and this bill is a tug backward.

When I heard about this bill, I thought, "I bet there are dozens of folks who Erin's work has touched over the years (especially in the nearly two decades she worked for and previously volunteered with her former employer) who would line up to donate to offset the cost of this bill.

Together we can take this burden off of Erin's budget and thank her for all of the uncompensated time she devoted to building community for and with our public schools, the city at large and the Bay View community most specifically.

It is hard to quantify all Erin has done and I know I am missing some pieces but here is just a sprinkle of the amazing Erin has given us...

While Erin was able to submit a limited number of time-cards for pay over the years, the allocated hours were never enough to cover all of the time, energy, dedication and love Erin put into her work, both paid and unpaid.

I am feeling very confident that Milwaukee will do the right thing here and kick in to help Erin cover this bill. Any funds raised beyond the $2,000.00 and fees will be donated to the Milwaukee Center for Independence.
