Let's Help Ellen Get Through The Unimaginable

Life...what a wonderful journey it can be; filled with ups, downs, and everything in between. Moments filled with joy and sorrow and making memories with friends and family alike. Our lives are enriched when our paths cross with a kindred soul and to all who have the blessing of knowing Ellen Goodman, you know too well that her soul is kindred to so very many. There is no task too big or too small for the lady who does so much for so many.

Now, the one who has cared for us all, needs our help as her beloved Michael has been diagnosed with the "silent killer"...pancreatic cancer. While we are people of faith, the prognosis does not look good and our friend and Sister in Christ, Ellen, needs us more than ever.

For those of you who know Michael, you know what a great man and scholar of the Word he is. His wonderful sheepish grin, his boyish good looks, his contagious smile, his Fedora, his love of books, offbeat movies, the Written Word and his love for the Raiders football team pale in comparison to his devotion and undying love for Ellen. They are each other's worlds and that world is crumbling before their very eyes.

Michael and Ellen know the plans the Lord has for their lives and while knowing what awaits on the other side brings some comfort in this world, it does not remove the responsibilities of this world and that is why this GoFundMe has been started.

To help the one who has helped us all in one way or another! To help make her days less worrisome so she can focus on creating new memories and cherishing every single moment with Michael without the weight of bills, work, housekeeping, co-pays, alternative medical options, gas, and the dreaded final arrangements.
