Edgar‘s journey started a couple years ago when he was diagnosed with stage four cancer. It took over 6 months to get disability and he had no income. Unfortunately disability doesn’t cover much of anything by the time he pays his rent, insurance, and other bills, he has nothing left over for necessities. I decided it was time to try and help him not stress so much about finances. I know we are all struggling, but any amount will help. It is not right that he cannot afford to take care of himself after his monthly check. He has doctors appointments, chemo, bloodwork, and so much more but never once have I heard him say he is giving up. He has been there for so many and now it’s time to be there for him.
