Let's Help Ector!
On July 8th, Ector went in to surgery to have Achilles tendon repaired. A few weeks after, he had to go back in for another surgery. This one was much more extensive and would increase his healing time. After a routine checkup on August 24th, the surgeon found that he had an infection. On August 25th (Ector's 40th Birthday), he was admitted to the hospital. The surgeon had to go back in for a 3rd time and remove all hardware and undo the previous procedures. Ector will be in the hospital for several days and will have to receive IV antibiotics for the next 6 weeks while he waits for the infection to clear. Once the infection is gone, he will go back in for a 4th Achilles surgery in a few months. After that, he will still have a long road to recovery. Any money donated will go directly to medical bills or other bills to help make up for missed work. Ector has been a personal trainer and fitness professional for over 17 years and also owns his own volleyball club. Let's help him get back to his normal life.
