Let's Help Dylan's vision!

Help Dylan's vision
Dylan was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor back in 2011. After surgery, chemo and high dose radiation, Dylan was left with double vision.
Over the last 9 years, Dylan has managed to persevere and just ignore his other eye image. In Oct of 2020, his eye surgeon performed a procedure to adjust the eyes with hopes to correct the double vision. The surgery has actually caused the opposite with more severe double vision. Dylan has developed extreme nystagmus. Both conditions are because his brain and his eyes are not connecting properly, just yet. It's a very unique condition.

Recently, Dylan had to turn down a internship and drop his University classes because of this condition. After seeing several specialists, our hopes now lie with an optometrist in Saskatoon that specializes in neurolenses and vision therapy. The therapy is a private practice and not covered under SHA or insurance and it has become extremely costly due to numerous appointments, travel with alternative lenses likely in the future.
We continue to dig for answers and options. Any extra donation to this Gofundme that's not used for treatments or expenses will be donated to a charity.
The Haussecker family would like to thank everyone for the thoughts, well wishes, messages and love. When we are down, there is always someone there to help. We are blessed to be in a community like Watson.
