Let’s Help Diego Cover Emergency Medical Bills

Hi, my name is Diego Cruz, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times of my life.

On May 18th, I experienced a serious medical emergency that doctors believe may have been a heart attack. I was rushed to the hospital and received the care I urgently needed, since the doctors diagnosed me with myocarditis — but because I’m not yet covered by OHIP (Ontario’s public health insurance), I’ve now been handed a hospital bill that I simply cannot afford.

I am currently working full-time in Canada under a legal work permit and contributing to the community, but due to bureaucratic requirements. I currently do not have health insurance coverage (OHIP). While I’m in the process of applying for OHIP, the requirements include documentation that isn’t always easy to obtain right away and unfortunately, my emergency happened before I could get everything in place.

What I’m Asking For:

I’m trying to raise $8,100 to help cover:

• Emergency room and hospital care

• Diagnostic tests

• Medications

• Ongoing follow-up appointments

All of the money raised will go directly towards paying the hospital and medical expenses. I am commited to full transparencias and will provide updates as things move forward.
