We’re reaching out with hope in our hearts to support someone special; our colleague and friend, Dian Janse van Rensberg

Recently, after a sudden and unexpected health complication, Dian lost his hearing completely. It has been a devastating shock for him, his family, and all of us who work with him.

Despite the fear and uncertainty, Dian continues to show strength, kindness, and positivity - still smiling, still giving his best, and still showing up for everyone around him.

Dian is not just our collegue. He is a loving husband and a proud dad of two beautiful little girls. One of the hardest parts of this journey has been the silence between him and the people he loves most. He can no longer hear their laughter, their bedtime stories, or the Christmas songs they’re now singing without him - things that once filled his life and home with joy.

After weeks of tests and failed treatment attempts, Dian has finally been approved for cochlear implant surgery... there is hope. Doctors believe the device can help restore his hearing. The challenge is that only one implant is covered publicly, leaving the second device - essential for full functional hearing - to be paid out-of-pocket at an estimated cost of $60,000.

This is where we are hoping the kindness of others can help change his life. Any donation (big or small) brings Dian one step closer to hearing again. One step closer to music, conversations, and connection. One step closer to hearing his daughters’ laughter - something no parent should lose.
