Let's Help DeMonte Johnson

For all friends of DeMonte and Susan Johnson and their family - DeMonte went for brain surgery to remove a benign cyst in September, 2020.  Nothing about his recovery went as expected and he ended up with a stroke, seizures, a brain abscess, an internal shunt and about six surgical procedures.  He was hospitalized for two full months in Michigan, and then went home for 10 days, and then he went back to the hospital before going to one of the best rehabilitation facilities in Chicago for about six weeks.  He then went to another rehab and now is at home continuing his recovery.

Fortunately Medicare has covered many of the direct medical costs.  Now the challenge is paying for in-home caregivers which will be out of pocket expenses for the Johnsons.  And how long these expenses will be necessary is the big unknown.  We'd like to help DeMonte/DJ/D and his family financially.  I hope you'll join us with a gift to the Johnson family.  Don't hesitate to make a gift of any size because any help will be deeply appreciated.   Just like Barack Obama's contributors proved - no gift is too small to help.
