Hey everyone,

I’m writing this because someone I care about needs help right now. Recently, my friend’s apartment was flooded, and in just a matter of hours, a lot of what they owned was ruined. Furniture, clothes, baby essentials, all ruined.

What makes this even harder is searching for a job while taking care of a newborn. On top of the emotional toll of losing your belongings, they’re also facing the stress of figuring out how to cover living expenses in the meantime while things are being sorted out.

I’ve seen firsthand how strong they’ve been trying to handle all of this, but no one should have to go through something like this alone. That’s why I started this fundraiser to help them rebuild piece by piece, to ease the weight on their shoulders, and to remind them that community can carry us when life feels too heavy.
