Hi everyone ,

For those of you who may not know me, my name is Sofia and I am a long time friend of Molly and Dave. I never imagined I would be in a position where I’d be asking for help but here I am. For those of you who may not know, Dave suffered a stroke on New Year’s Eve. He had to undergo brain surgery and is currently recovering in the Neuro ICU. While he has made tremendous strides in getting better, this is still going to be a long road for him and for Molly. He will hopefully be able to start rehab shortly, but for now, he is still in the hospital.

I’ve started this GoFundMe because Dave and Molly are the kind of people who deserve our help. The funds raised will help with medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and essential needs to support Dave’s quality of life during recovery. After more than 20 years of hard work in the service industry and a lifetime of generosity and hospitality toward others, I can’t think of two people more deserving of help during this time.
