If you are taking the time to read this, I am sure you know Darren Quick already. I don't have to tell you that he is an awesome father, brother, cousin, son, Uncle D and friend. He is someone that goes out of his way to help and do for others. I want to ask that each of you please be praying for Darren as he goes through this trial. God can and will provide him with all that he needs as well as complete healing!

He has been diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, and as of right now, they believe it to be stage 3. They have located a tumor near his stomach that is attached to the esophagus. The size and placement of this tumor has made it impossible for Darren to eat solid foods. He is strictly on a liquid diet. They will be doing a pet scan to assess whether it is also in his lymph nodes. We do know that there will be several weeks of radiation, chemotherapy and possibly surgery. If you have ever gone through anything like this I am sure you are aware that the costs can be overwhelming. Let's help take some of the stress off of Darren and his family.

And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.
