Yesterday, on Good Friday… Our mate Danny McCall lost everything.

A devastating house fire, believed to have been caused by an e-bike battery has destroyed his home and everything inside it. In a matter of moments, it was all gone.

Danny and his two kids, Chase and Chloe, are left with nothing. No clothes. No toys. No beds. No memories. They were unable to salvage much, and basically left with the clothes on their backs.

The home has been destroyed along with everything in it. The house is uninhabitable, and Danny and the kids need to find alternate accommodation.

Heartbreakingly… thursday was Chase’s birthday, presents… gone.

If that wasn’t enough, Danny has already been carrying a heavy load — dealing with serious health news for his dad. Devastatingly, Danny’s dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer and a short time left. He had recently spent $60,000 on a hyperbaric machine to help… it too was lost in the fire, still sitting unopened in the garage.

With everything going on, contents insurance slipped through the cracks.

Anyone who knows Danny, knows this: he’s the bloke who shows up. The one who helps. The one who gives, without ever asking for anything in return.

Right now, he needs us.
