Lucas came to this world (06/19), he was born prematurely, via an emergency C-Section while her mother was fighting for her life.  Daniela was on intensive care unit, she had COVID (the aggressive Brazilian variant) and she was on an induced coma. She fought in each and every breath hoping to open her eyes and finally see her little one.  God´s will were different and she left to His presence yesterday (06/23/2021).

Bolivia is going through the third wave of COVID-19 infections. Hospitals are collapsed with restricted medical services and even a shortage of medical supplies and oxygen. This situation forced Daniela´s family to go to a private hospital where the daily cost at the Intensive Care Unit was more than $us. 3,000. At the moment they have a debt of $35,000.

This family, and specially Daniel (husband), Sofia (2 years old) and Lucas (newborn) need your help, your prayers, and a little piece of your heart.

We trust in God. May the Lord grant eternal rest to this heroic mother who died fighting for her life to meet for the first time her little one and hug family again.

El 19 de junio, llegó Lucas al mundo, Lucas nació prematuro de 8 meses. Nació por cesárea, antes de tiempo, mientras su mami peleaba por vivir. Daniela estuvo varios días en terapia intensiva, fue diagnosticada con COVID 19 y estuvo inconsciente, luchando en cada respiro que podía dar por abrir sus ojos y conocer a su pequeño. Los designios de Dios fueron diferentes y ella partió a su presencia el día de ayer. 

Bolivia viene atravesando la tercera ola de contagios por COVID-19, con los hospitales en general colapsados, servicios médicos restringidos e inclusive escases de medicamentos y oxígeno. Esta situación obligó a la familia a acudir a una clínica privada en la que cada día los costos de internación en terapia intensiva eran de más de USD 3000. La familia se quedó con una deuda de USD 35000.

Esta familia, Daniela (esposo), Sofia (2 años) y Lucas (recién nacido) requieren tu ayuda, tu oración y un poco de tu corazón.
