Let’s help Dakota, Katherine, and Kids Through Tough Times

There is a family in our community that needs us right now. We all know how hard it can be to juggle doctor bills along with everything else that life comes with! Let’s gather to try and make life a tad bit easier on Dakota, Katherine and their 4 children. Below I will copy and paste one of Katherine’s statuses that explains what’s going on.
“Dakota is doing very well. He is walking, eating, and talking great. He is in a lot of pain. But that was expected. Over all, at this moment, he is doing GREAT!
It was not just a cyst. It was a high grade glioma tumor. Dr. Lee said he got most of it out, but that he had to stop because it was too deep and would have began affecting his motor skills. The doctor said that surgery alone cannot fix it. Chemo and radiation will be needed. They have sent it off to determine what stage it’s in. We will have those results hopefully next week.
They also found 3 small spots on his lungs as well. As of right now, they will do scans every 3 months to follow those.
He will have to do radiation and chemo. Radiation will be 5 days a week. We have a referral for MD Anderson.
I’m at a loss of words. If I’m being honest, I want to punch a wall. I think of the selfless man I’m married to who would give anyone the shirt off of his back. I think of my babies who think Dakota hung the moon. Because he has for them. I think of every little thing I’ve ever complained about in my life and it makes me physically sick.
But I also think of a mustard seed.
I know the God that I serve and He has performed miracles and is still performing miracles.
Please, please pray for our family.”
