Let's help Cassie get back on her feet!!
Donation protected
Cassie Brunn is one of the most kind, loving, appreciative, giving, selfless, hardworking and thoughtful people I know.
And, sometimes when life gets tough, we have to ask for help... which I know she will not do... so, I'm gonna do it for her and her family (with their reluctant permission).
Cassie fell on Thursday, March 13th and broke her left ankle. She broke it in multiple places and she will need to have at least one surgery (with some hardware) in about a week, once the swelling goes down.
As you can imagine, this kind of an injury along with the surgery and recovery is going to require a significant amount of downtime. Downtime is not a word that is familiar to Cassie because, like I said earlier, she is a hardworker who very rarely takes time for herself because she is always helping and taking care of everyone else!
Cassie needs to be on her feet (literally and figuratively) in order to work and this injury will very likely cause financial hardship/stress for her and Joel.
Together, I am hoping we can all help to relieve just a little bit of the financial and emotional stress this unfortunate injury will cause. And, even if you are not able to donate financially, Cassie and Joel will gladly accept any and all prayers and well wishes for a speedy and complete recovery!
With love and many thanks,
Kate
