Let's Help Carter and His Family

Hi, my name is Scott and I am starting a Gofundme campaign to support a great family in their time of need. Marty Eddison and his partner Josie Carter are at the Toronto Hospital for Sick Kids with their son Carter. Carter, 6 years old, was born with a defect in his heart and has had 3 open heart surgeries to date. His most recent surgery, 2 weeks ago, was to replace a heart valve that wasn't working properly. Unfortunately the surgery didn't work as expected and Carter needed to be heavily sedated for the next week while he laid in his hospital bed with his chest wide open. When Carter was strong enough the Dr's decided to close his chest and pray that the the new heart valve would work. Carter seemed to be getting stronger until yesterday, March 23rd when Carter had a cardiac event. The Dr's determined that the operation did not work and the new valve is leaking. The result is that Carter has been placed on the waiting list for a heart transplant. This means that Marty and Josie will need to stay in Toronto for an undetermined amount of time. Both Marty and Josie are on leaves from work so that they can be with Carter. Marty and Josie have 2 other children, Tylor and Gabby, and they haven't seen them in a month now. It would be great to raise enough money to fly the children to Toronto to see their parents and their brother Carter. Anyone that knows Marty and Josie know that they are kind, giving, generous people. They would give you the shirt off their backs to help anyone out. Please give what you can.
