Hello my name is Brittney Hilson, but many know me as Bee. May 20th 2021 I was involved in a hit and run accident and nearly lost my life. I was on a motor scooter and got side swiped, unfortunately the driver never stopped. Leaving me there with broken bones in my legs and a concussion that left me with 14 stitches on my head. Waking up from my concussion I was informed my right leg was broken in 3 different places (femur, lower tibia, and ankle(which ankle broke in 3 places)). Hearing that news instantly put me into a depression with so many worries (being a single mother to two active boys, how will I keep up, how can I maintain). I am Currently out of work and can’t do what I love (master cosmetologist). This is a life changing event. I was told I wont be back standing in a salon for another 3/5 months depending on my healing process. I’ve been in the hospital pushing 3 weeks and everyday I think about how can I support my family moving forward. My surgery will cost me $20,000+ and the numbers arent final, doesn’t include my X-rays, mri, doctor's surgery fee and hospital stay fee. I’ve had my final surgery and now next step will be rehab which is another expense. I'm asking for a helping hand to pay doctor bills and household expenses while I'm out. I am so thankful for everyone prayers and wishes, please continue to keep me in your prayers. Those who know me know I'm a very strong and independent woman and never ask for a helping hand. It's the go getter in me that got me far in life and in my career. I miss my clients who I see as family, I miss my kids , and close friends.
