Everyone's hands up? Okay.

 

For the last several months, our friend John has been in unbelievable pain from an unknown source, during a time when uncertainty and pain are already in abundance. Thankfully, his doctors have finally pinpointed the cause, and he's having surgery on June 30th to fix the problem and, hopefully, solve his pain. Yet, medical costs in this country are high and, as we all know, spending your life keeping a small nonprofit theatre alive and thriving doesn’t come with the high-rolling salary that John’s commitment, skills, and dedication certainly deserve.

 

John does, however, have us, the community he has dedicated his life to serving through late nights, long weekends, endless wisdom and advice, and dozens upon dozens upon dozens of cookies, brownies, and raspberry bars.

 

Please consider giving any amount to help our friend cover his medical bills and get him back on his feet—shaking hands, telling stories, and doing curtain speeches—once again. The amount of this fundraiser reflects the out-of-pocket expenses estimated for John’s surgery. If we raise more than the goal amount, I know there will be plenty of other recovery costs we can support. And I also know John will give it all back to us a thousandfold.
