Here’s some news about my brother, Bodie Wagner.

On Tuesday, September 8, Bodie had heart bypass surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm and replace a heart valve. The surgery was successful and he is now in the ICU. Jackson and Marty visit him every day and he is in good spirits although very tired for now.

He’s been dealing with medical challenges that have curtailed his ability to work for several months, and he’s facing four to six months of recovery on top of that.

Those who know Bodie realize he’s been a hard worker all his life as a musician, a fine craftsman, and a contractor. He’s also been extraordinarily caring and generous in looking out for his community, near and far.

Now he needs his community to help him in any way it can. I am hoping to generate help and goodwill for Bodie, and I am asking friends, fans, and family to do what they can to help him recover without worrying about the wolf at the door.

Whatever you can give will be met with great appreciation. And please hold him in your thoughts and prayers on September 8.
