Let’s help Billy get back to his farm !

Donation protected
Hi, I am Lisa Lohmann. The Lohmann family has been friends of Billy Beaumont for many years. Billy runs and operates Beaumont Farms on East Center Street in Wallingford, Connecticut. Billy and his farm have been a positive fixture in the Wallingford community. He decorates his property with incredibly creative and stunning exhibits for children and adults alike to explore free of charge. He has showcased his creative talents in the current Candy Land display to previous sets with M&Ms, Frozen, Peanuts and A Christmas Story, just to name a few. He invited the community to come explore his labors of love and never asks for anything in return. Billy is a man of great joy and generosity which can be easily seen through his creative passions and heard in his infectious laughter.
Unfortunately, Billy was seriously injured while working at the farm 3 weeks ago. In a freak accident, his pants caught fire and he sustained significant burns to his legs and hands. He has been receiving life saving treatment for the burns and subsequent blood clots at Bridgeport Hospital. After several skin grafts and surgeries, Billy hopes to be returning home to continue his healing very soon.
Billy’s family shared that he has been in good spirits and is eager to make his way home to his farm. Unfortunately, due to the gravity of his injuries, he will be unable to work for several more months.
After speaking with his family, we decided to organize this fundraiser with them to give back to a man who have given so much to our community, and to my family personally. If you have ever visited one of his gorgeous displays, wandered his greenhouses, or been lucky enough to get gardening advice from him, please consider donating whatever you can to help him get back on his feet as he overcomes these tremendous medical and financial hurdles. The money donated will be deposited directly to Billy’s personal account and will be used to cover medical expenses from his hospitalization and recovery needs. In addition, the donations will help offset lost income and will be used to pay for daily living necessities such as taxes, electricity, food and medication.
