Let's Help Austin Have A New Beginning

On November 29th, 2022 Austin was in an unfortunate situation at a local bar in Arlington Wa. For reasons unknown, an altercation of sorts broke out and he was trying to leave to de-escalate the situation. However one of the men decided to follow him and hunt him down to legitimately try to hurt him, the man pulled out a gun and multiple shots were fired and one struck him in the stomach. After months in the ICU, several surgeries and less than 10% chance of surviving, he is now stable enough to be discharged. Austin is happy to be home but the recovery process is far from over. He is still tube feeding and slowly incorporating some food. Between not being able to work, the expenses of hospital and lawyer fees are starting to become overwhelming. The unknowing prognosis is beyond daunting, who knows what the rehabilitation is going to take, and the doctors don't really know what to expect with his injuries in the future. We are obviously hoping for the best, but any help we may have to help Austin to achieve a higher standard for a new start to his life would be beyond appreciative. We are not necessarily looking for a monetary handout, but all donations of any kind are not only more than welcomed, but beyond appreciated. We just want to strive for a full recovery for Austin no matter it be in the physical aspect, but definitely the mental aspect of the entire experience. We just want the best for him and have no idea what the future holds, but we are so happy he is still with us and want to keep building on our relationships together . Watching Austin struggle in his day to day has been difficult, but we have these amazing people supporting us, so its the idea that life is so short and we can't discount how much we care about each other Friends and family have been nothting but supportive, we could not have been able to do this without all of the amazing people behind us!
