4/25/26 Ashley is facing the fight of her life and doing everything she can to stay present for her son, Maddox.
After undergoing CAR-T therapy last September to treat Diffuse Large B-Cell (DLBCL) Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, Ashley developed severe complications, including neurotoxicity and Transverse Myelitis-leaving her paralyzed from the chest down and dependent on a wheelchair. She spent nearly 60 days hospitalized receiving life-saving care.
After returning home, Ashley pushed herself to regain independence and even returned to work within weeks, all while continuing chemotherapy and IVIG treatments. Despite her determination, she has not been able to work as much as she hoped.
Ashley recently completed six additional cycles of chemotherapy, but devastatingly, her cancer has continued to progress.
Her next step is aggressive treatment in hopes of reaching remission so she can undergo a stem cell transplant-her best chance at long-term remission and the possibility of a cure.
At the same time, Ashley is navigating major life changes, including moving into a more accessible home while continuing to manage her care and treatment and showing up every day for her teenage son.
Through it all, Ashley continues to push forward with a level of strength that can only be described one way-she’s truly Super Woman. But even Super Woman needs support.
In the coming months, Ashley may need to step away from work to focus on treatment and recovery. The financial strain from medical bills, living expenses, relocation, and necessary equipment is overwhelming.
Any donation—no matter the size—will help ease this burden and allow Ashley to focus on what matters most: her treatment, her recovery, and her family.
Thank you for supporting Ashley during the most difficult fight of her life.
9/21 Update: Ashley was admitted as planned on 9/8 but has experienced some complications from her treatment. She is currently on day 10 of being in the ICU. After a scary week she is slowly progressing in the right direction, but still has a long road ahead! Please keep all the prayers/healing vibes coming!
Hi everyone! If you know Ashley, you know she’s an amazing mom, friend, and nurse practitioner! This past December, Ashley was unfortunately diagnosed with an aggressive form of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, PMLBC- Stage 4. Since then, she has undergone 7 rounds of chemo. The next step is for her to be admitted to the hospital to proceed with the next phase of her treatment-CAR-T therapy.
Due to Ashley being required to take extended time off work for treatments and ongoing medical bills, I thought we should try to help her out as much as possible! I know she is not one to ask for help, but hopefully we can help ease some of her stress so she can focus on kicking cancer's a**! ️
